Description
Devon County Council, Plymouth City Council, Somerset County Council and Torbay Council joined forces to provide a dedicated adoption service – Adopt South West.
This new way of delivering adoption services offers improved outcomes for both children and those who want to adopt. Working regionally will help recruit new families more effectively, enable children to be placed in a more timely way and will improve adoption support services as well as allowing us to share best practice and make our services even better
Training and support will be provided to help you prepare for adoption and this support is continued for as long as you feel it is needed.
