Adoption Leadership Board publishes addendum to Myth-Buster
19 December 2014On November 11 2014 the national Adoption Leadership Board (ALB) published a “Myth-Buster” guide to clarify the meaning of a number of high profile court judgements on care and adoption order cases – notably “Re B and Re B-S”. A number of further judgments have been issued since then, which wholly support the principal message of the original Myth-Buster guide, further emphasising that Re B and Re B-S do not alter the legal test for adoption. The ALB has therefore issued an addendum to the original guide to highlight the key messages from those additional judgments.
