We are a Local Authority Adoption Agency seeking adoptive homes for a large number of children every year. We welcome enquiries from all sections of the community within Essex and close bordering areas.
We are actively seeking families who can consider adopting two or more brothers or sisters, as we have sibling pairs and groups who need to stay together in their permanent adoptive home. We also welcome enquiries from people who wish to adopt children age 4 and older, and children with special needs/disabilities.
We welcome Registrations of Interest from anyone wishing to adopt a young baby through Early Permanence and those interested in children with disabilities. Early Permanence is a way to care for young babies while decisions are made about their future. This arrangement is known as Fostering for Adoption.
We currently have 39 children waiting for adoption, 23 boys and 16 girls. Our latest figures for children waiting for adoption are:
- 26 children aged under 5
- 13 children aged over 5
- 10 sibling pairs (2 boy and girl pairs, 3 girl pairs and 5 boy pairs)
- 4 children with disabilities
We offer a comprehensive preparation and training programme, and a bespoke support service at all stages of your adoption journey.
