Attending an Adoption Matters online adoption information events is a convenient way to find out more about adoption, our outstanding Ofsted rated agency and the support that we offer to our children and families. All that you need to attend is internet access and ideally a device with a camera.

The events are hosted by experienced members of our enquiry team alongside a social worker. During the event we will share a presentation with you, chat through the adoption process and the ongoing support that we offer. We will also give you a chance to ask questions.

Our events last around an hour to an hour and a half, depending on how many questions are asked. Joining instructions will be sent to you 2-3 days before the event.

The events are open to anyone who is interested in adoption that lives in our geographical coverage area which is: the whole of the North West, North East, Yorkshire & the Humber, Stoke, Staffordshire, Shropshire and North Wales.

If you live just outside of these areas, we may still be able to assist you, so please do contact our team to discuss.

It’s a great opportunity to find out about the process, our children, and hear from an adopter about their experiences. We will be answering questions and will have lots of resources and book ideas to share with you.

We respect everyone’s privacy, and we will not be featuring any guests on the screen when you join the webinar. You are welcome to offer any questions you like in our chat box, which we will aim to answer in the second half of the online event.

Our online information events are a great way to learn more about adopting, the adoption process and how Adoption Focus can support you.

They begin with a live presentation from a member of our team, covering all aspects of adoption and our service. Following you'll be given the opportunity to arrange a private phone call or video chat with one of our experienced adoption social workers in which you can ask any specific questions about your own circumstances and talk about next steps.

Together for Adoption is a regional adoption agency providing support for those looking to start their adoption journey from Cheshire West and Chester, Halton, St Helens, Warrington, Wigan and surrounding areas.

The team will talk you through the adoption process and you will also be able to ask any questions you may have about adoption.
