We are a national voluntary adoption agency set up by people with first-hand experience of adoption.  We place children at the heart of everything we do, and our mission is to create loving, stable families through inclusive, personalised support for every adopter.

Our dedicated team provides thorough preparation, ongoing training, and one-to-one guidance throughout your adoption journey and beyond.

Our online information events are a friendly and informative way to explore adoption, understand the adoption process, and learn how Adoption Focus can support you every step of the way.

These events are ideal if:

• you’re just starting to research adoption
• you’d like a clear, general overview of how adoption works
• you’ve been considering adoption for some time and feel ready to begin your journey with Adoption Focus, an Ofsted Outstanding rated agency
• you’re speaking with local agencies and deciding which one is right for you
• you want to learn more about the children currently waiting for adoptive families
• you have specific questions you’d like to discuss privately with an expert
• you’re interested in early permanence routes into adoption

Each event starts with a live presentation from a member of our team, covering adoption and the support we offer. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to arrange a private phone call or video chat with one of our experienced adoption social workers, where you can talk through your individual circumstances and discuss next steps.

CCS Adoption, local independent, voluntary adoption agency in Bristol, is running an online Adoption Information Event for people thinking of adopting. Book yourself a place, and you can explore adoption, the children who need adoptive families and CCS Adoption – the region’s only Ofsted “Outstanding” adoption agency.

There will be a short presentation via Zoom with their expert adoption team, who will be able to answer any questions you might have and tell you more about the lifelong support and training we provide. You’ll find out what the next steps are if you decide to adopt a child or siblings.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the support we provide after adoption through our Adoption Support.

This Information Event will be held via Zoom, so if you want to book a place, please use the booking form on their website. CCS works with families living in the West and South West areas of England in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.

Join Our Adoption Information Event

Are you considering adoption, or just exploring your options? Our online Adoption Information Events are the perfect place to learn more! Whether you’re in the early stages or have been thinking about adoption for a while, our events will give you valuable information and a feel for what it’s like to adopt with Caritas Care.

What to Expect:

Our events are led by a dedicated Adoption Social Worker who will walk you through the adoption process step-by-step.
There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and to also hear the stories from adoptive parents who will share their journey with you. (Available: 12 Jan, 10 Feb, 11 Mar, 9 Apr, 11 May, 9 Jun, 8 Jul, 6 Aug, 7 Sep, 6 Oct, 4 Nov and 3 Dec)

You will also have a chance to learn about different paths, including traditional adoption and Early Permanence options like Fostering for Adoption and Concurrent Planning.
