Bath & North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council, Gloucestershire County Council, North Somerset Council, South Gloucestershire Council and Wiltshire Council have now joined forces to provide a dedicated adoption service –Adoption West.
This new way of delivering adoption services offers improved outcomes for both children and those who want to adopt. Working regionally will help recruit new families more effectively, enable children to be placed in a more timely way and will improve adoption support services as well as allowing us to share best practice and make our services even better.
