Description
ARC Adoption North East is an Independent Adoption Agency with an exceptionally experienced team. Collectively, we have worked for over 200yrs in the field, assessing prospective adopters and finding families for children. We aim to recruit over 40 adoptive families a year to greatly increase the opportunities for children to experience family life. We will also use our expertise to provide adopters who can consider fostering to adopt arrangements in order to minimise the moves for children as their plan evolves towards adoption.
Although based in the North East we have the flexibility to work with adopters and local authorities throughout the country and are not restricted by geographical boundaries.
We are looking for adopters who have the time, space and energy to love and nurture a child or siblings of all ages. Enquiries are welcome whether you are single, married or in a partnership.
The team at ARC are professional, friendly, approachable and non-judgemental. We will be with you every step of the way responding to your individual needs; tailoring training and assessment to avoid delay. Here at ARC we recognise the importance of the relationship that develops between adopters and their social worker; you can depend on us to encourage, guide and support you throughout your adoption journey. In keeping with this we operate a daily duty system offering support and advice whenever it is needed.
