Description
Art Therapy Works provides Art Therapy services in Norfolk led by Art Therapist Sarah Wilson.
Art Therapy or Art Psychotherapy enables people to communicate and explore difficult or confusing feelings through art making in a confidential setting. With the focus on creative expression it can be particularly useful when talking about problems is difficult and it’s not necessary to be ‘good at art’. The art therapist supports people to find their individual spontaneous creativity allowing conscious and unconscious feelings to emerge; in this way difficulties can be seen, processed and resolved enabling personal grow and change.
Art Therapy can help people to:
- Build self esteem and confidence
- Learn to manage difficult feelings positively
- Gain insight and self-awareness
- Improve family relationships
- Process loss and trauma
