Description
We are a small team of Clinical Psychologists that offers psychological and therapeutic support for adopted children and their families.
We pride ourselves on working with empathy and acceptance. We understand the difficulties of raising adopted children and the challenging situations it can present to families.
We work using range of approaches including DDP/Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (Dan Hughes), Theraplay, Parent consultation, therapeutic parenting (individual and group training), CBT etc.
We frequently work alongside schools and other agencies when it is useful.
We are also able to offer psychological assessments when parents are unclear what the problem is. This includes a written report complete with recommendations for future work.
