Life Story Workshop Coram

Coram Adoption Support team welcomes you to join a free one day Life Story workshop facilitated by Joy Rees

The workshop will provide a theoretical framework and the opportunity to consider how to share painful information with adopted children at different stages of their development. We will be using practical examples to demonstrate the benefits of Life Story work.

Joy Rees is an Adoption Adviser with more than 30 years experience working for London boroughs. She has a particular interest in promoting and prioritising permanency and strong family attachments through her sensitive construction of ‘family friendly’ life story books. During the workshop, Joy will be discussing elements of life story work and ways to compile and use Life Story books.
